The HKS Intercooler Kit developed for the Nissan GTR reduces weight, increases cooling performance and enables increased boost and therefore higher horsepower.The performance of the stock intercoolers are good for stock boost levels. At higher boost levels, the temperature of the compressed air is increased. In order to improve cooling performance, larger intercooler cores are required. After countless hours of engineering and performance testing, very large (400 x 260 x 65mm) cores were selected.
The intercooler assemblies are lighter than stock and reduce the front-end weight overhang.

Typically, with large capacity intercoolers, airflow to the radiator and A/C condenser are reduced. With HKS’ new intercooler design, air flow speed to the radiator is actually increased.

The kit also includes a carbon fiber air guide for improved air flow to both the intercooler cores and the radiator.

Items that are in stock in the US, either at Bulletproof’s warehouse or at a supplier’s warehouse, are generally delivered within 7-10 days. Typically it breaks down to one week in Japan for paperwork and customs, two weeks by boat and one week in US customs/clearance. Due to the wide number of variables between manufacturer and shipping schedules, delivery estimates are simply just that – estimates. We attempt to estimate conservatively and we usually deliver faster than our estimates suggest. It is not Bulletproof’s policy to guarantee delivery time of any special order item, this is impossible for us to do.
