INTRODUCING: brand_RR Front Switchback Clear LED Winker Lights for NISMO GT-R

INTRODUCING: brand_RR Front Switchback Clear LED Winker Lights for NISMO GT-R

Way back in 2011, we released the world’s first Front Switchback LED Turn Signals (winkers) for the GT-R. “Switchback” is a bit of an ambiguous term for most people, but the gist is that when the headlights or parking lamps are activated, the marker illuminates white. As soon as the turn signal (or hazard) is activated, the lamp immediately switches from white illumination to amber flashing. When the turn signal is deactivated, the lamp re-illuminates to white.  The result is a match to the white light output of the headlamps at night.

As the Nismo GT-R (as well as the EDM / JDM Track Edition by Nismo) features wider front fenders, we knew a Nismo-specific version of our Switchback Winkers was necessary. In designing these lights, we actually ended up creating our own custom, in-house produced clear lens that offers better light diffusion.

All brand_RR Front Clear Switchback Winkers begin life as OEM Nissan Japanese-spec clear winker lamps, and are then modified with custom-made clear lenses, a custom-spec’d LED array, as well as a specially CAD-engineered internal reflector for even light diffusion and an OEM look.

As far as installation, it’s simple; as they utilize the standard marker lamp’s socket, with only one additional wire per lamp that needs to be spliced. (A full-color, detailed installation manual is provided.)

Note – These have been tested with US Specification GT-Rs, they may respond differently with Japanese Spec GT-Rs.

Pricing is $475.00 – to order, feel free to contact us – +1 213.745.6954 / sales@gt-rr.com or to purchase on our website:
