HKS says the catalyst is the strongest area of resistance to performance and large burden in the exhaust system of turbo-charged car. They claim their offering erodes this negative attribute, allowing a rise of boost pressure response. In the R35 4 cats total are present including the 2 primary cataysts which are mounted in line immediately at the turbo exit. The Metal Catalyzer offers excellent exhaust gas filtering performance suitable for meeting some emissions testing and pollution control standards. Pipe composed of SUS304 grade steel, Pipe diameter IN: 75×2mm / OUT: 85mm. Adjacent exhaust volume with HKS Riga MAX Premium exhaust and Metal Catalyzer: 93 deibels, with HKS Riga MAX Premium Exhaust and stock cats: 91db, with stock cat and exahust: 89db. |
